Whoever Said ” HEALTHY IS NOT YUMMY” didn’t know what to cook. Yes, you heard it right. These Oats and Vegetable Patties are healthy and
yummySuper Yummy ❤
Hello Lovely Readers,
My Oats and Vegetable Patties are the yummiest I have had so far. Trust me it truly breaks the notion that Healthy Food is Not Tasty. You will fall in love with this and just end up craving for more & more. Breakfast is the most important meal of the day, and it has to be full of nutrition. With all my attempts of breakfast recipes on the blog, I have made sure that they are healthy yet delicious. My Fruit Parfaits & Orange and Banana Smoothies were a huge hit.
I am not a diet freak and not a calorie counter. But yes, I like to balance my diet. Even if you are eating junk or unhealthy food it is important to balance it the next day so that you can maintain your weight. When I began with the breakfast column on the blog, I only had one thing in mind i.e Healthy Breakfast Ideas. These Oats and Vegetable Patties are a total win-win. You are eating the healthiest breakfast and it is delicious too.
Honestly, I wasn’t an Oat lover until I made these. I liked to eat it once in a while, that too the flavored ones that we get these days in the market. I liked strawberry one A lot. But I could manage to eat it only once a week. These patties were the most amazing experiments which have come true. I wished to make Masala oats with all the veggies in it, but then thought why cant I make something out of oats and vegetables……. And here it was.
P.S- These Patties are rich in Protein and Fibre.
Oats are really high on Protein and Fiber. They help you maintain weight and its worth it if you include them in your diet plan. They keep you full for quite sometime and yet are low on fats and sugar content. This recipe is a hub of nutrients. It has Oats, Green Grams and Vegetables. The best part about the recipe is that, even if you don’t like Oats you can make these because you can’t really taste it. 😉 I added 1 1/2 cup of oats in this recipe but no one could actually make out if I had added oats in it. My mom didn’t actually believe this had Oats.
Like my other breakfast recipes, this too is really easy to make. You require no skills at all…Zero..Even a 5 year old kid can make this….Its that easy. If you are a beginner and wish to start cooking, I would suggest you to start from these. They make you feel like a pro in the kitchen and you would get a lot of compliments for making such a breakfast 😀
